Filipino expatriates in Qatar

Nagpaabot na rin ng pamamaalam sa mamayang Pilipino si US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie A. Kenney kasunod ng ginawang anunsiyo ni US President Barack Obama na ipapalit sa kanya.

Labis ang pasasalamat ni Kenney dahilan sa malaking karangalan at pagsisilbi bilang ambassador ng Amerika sa Pilipinas na umabot sa tatlo at kalahating taon.

Ang kanyang pakikisalamuha umano at trabaho sa mga Pinoy ay pinaka-memorable experiences sa kanyang buhay.

Ang pananatili umano niya sa Pilipinas ayon pa kay Kenney ay nakita niya ang determinasyon ng mga Pilipino para mapaangat ang kanilang pamumuhay.

Hindi umano niya makakalimutan ang napundar niyang pakikipagkaibagan sa mga Pilipino.

Have u ever found yourself asking the question " Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?" This is a question I have been questioned numerous times from people in pain and suffering from transistions and uncertainty of LIFE. Faced with working abroad, loss of loved ones, hurt from struggling relationship, the longing for HOME, the seperation from children and endless hours of work can often leave people bewildered, confused or angry in the state of grief. In those times when PAIN seems to have no end and you find yourself in a sense of helplessness, I encourage you to HOLD ON to your FAITH.

Let me share a little story with u. The author is anonymous but the words apeak volumes about our attitude's effect on how we view our present circumstances:

Ask ko lng po sa mga nakapag-transit na sa Heathrow Airport. Kelangan ba ng transit visa ng mga Filipino passport holders pag mag transit sa airport na 'to for less than 24 hours?

Next day, nag laro ang Kano ng Golf kasama ang Japanese counterpart. On the third hole, naka "Hole-in-One" ang Japanese. Para ma-impressed ang kaniyang kleyente, sumigaw siya ng "Fujifoo!, Fujifoo!!
