Qatar Launches A Digitally Aware Family Campaign

Qatar's Ministry of Social Development and Family has launched the national "A Digitally Aware Family" campaign with the slogan "Protecting them is your responsibility".

The campaign involves 20 national entities and aims to raise awareness of digital safety, help families protect children and guide them towards safe, balanced and responsible use of technology.

It focuses on children and parents, while also extending its messages to social and psychological specialists, content creators and organisations working on family, childhood and digital safety issues.

The campaign is built around three stages: understanding digital risks and unsafe content, adopting practical protection measures, and reinforcing responsibility, rights, duties, reporting and appropriate responses to risks.

The ministry has also launched the eSafety website at www.esafety.qa, offering awareness materials, guidance, useful links and digital content.

The initiative forms part of the ministry's 2025-2030 strategy, "From Care to Empowerment", and supports efforts to strengthen family stability and social development.
