HMC joins QMED 2026 as Strategic Sponsor ahead of October healthcare exhibition

Hamad Medical Corporation has joined the third Qatar International Medical Devices and Healthcare Exhibition and Conference (QMED 2026) as a Strategic Sponsor.

The event will take place from October 14 to 16, 2026, at the Qatar National Convention Centre, under the official patronage of the Ministry of Public Health.

QMED 2026 is expected to bring together healthcare institutions, medical and technology companies, manufacturers, suppliers, experts and decision-makers from Qatar and international markets.

Around 150 companies and institutions expected

Organisers expect approximately 150 companies and institutions to participate in this year’s edition.

The exhibition will also feature international pavilions representing different global markets, alongside a scientific conference, specialist workshops and other professional activities.

The aim is to create a platform where healthcare organisations and industry players can exchange knowledge, build partnerships and explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment.

What sectors will QMED 2026 cover?

The exhibition will span a broad range of healthcare-related sectors, including:

  • Medical devices and supplies
  • Healthcare equipment
  • Diagnostics and laboratory technologies
  • Pharmaceuticals and biotechnology
  • Digital health and artificial intelligence
  • Medical education and training
  • Medical tourism and wellness
  • Healthcare logistics and supply chains

These areas reflect some of the key technologies and services currently shaping the future of healthcare.

HMC participation expected to strengthen industry connections

Through its role as Strategic Sponsor, HMC aims to support QMED as a platform connecting Qatar’s healthcare ecosystem with international companies, manufacturers, technology providers, experts and healthcare professionals.

Chairman of the QMED Organising Committee Khalifa bin Salman Al Muhannadi said HMC’s participation represents strong support for the exhibition’s objectives and strengthens its position within Qatar’s healthcare sector.

He added that QMED is intended to provide a space where local healthcare institutions can connect with the international healthcare community and explore new partnerships.

Scientific and professional programme

Beyond the exhibition floor, QMED 2026 will feature a specialised scientific conference and workshops designed to bring together healthcare professionals, experts and decision-makers.

The programme is expected to focus on knowledge exchange, emerging healthcare technologies and the future development of the sector.

With HMC joining as Strategic Sponsor, organisers expect the corporation’s participation to add further depth to discussions around healthcare innovation and the future of medical services in Qatar.
