The Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza has completed a humanitarian project to supply and distribute 1,320 assistive devices to people with disabilities and mobility impairments across different governorates of the Gaza Strip.
The project, valued at approximately USD 345,000, forms part of Qatar’s continuing humanitarian support for communities affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
Wheelchairs, walkers and medical mobility aids distributed
The equipment includes wheelchairs, walkers and other assistive medical devices designed to support people with physical disabilities and amputees.
The project responds to the increasing need for mobility equipment and rehabilitation support as the continuing humanitarian crisis leaves more people facing injuries, amputations and reduced access to essential medical services.
By providing practical mobility solutions, the initiative is intended to help beneficiaries move more independently and manage everyday activities with greater safety and dignity.
