Qatar resumes normal maritime navigation for all vessels: MOT

Qatar’s Ministry of Transport (MOT) announced that maritime navigation activities have resumed normally for all types of maritime vessels and ships, effective immediately.

In a statement on Monday night, July 20, the ministry said: “Maritime navigation activities can now resume normally for all types of maritime vessels and ships, as of the date of this announcement.”

The MOT urged vessel owners and operators to comply with all maritime regulations and instructions in force, and ensure all necessary safety and security equipment is on board before and during sailing to maintain the highest levels of safety and security on all voyages.

The ministry had earlier announced a temporary suspension of maritime navigation activities as a precautionary measure in light of regional developments.
