It's been a loOoOoOong time since I posted something here.. I've been busy.. So here's a quick update :

I have a weekly column now!!! In a newspaper!! I still can't wrap my head around it ! apparently, I'm a column writer now!

I've been publishing for four weeks alreadyyy!!!

My column is published every Monday /-a-t-/ AlRaya newspaper..

I almost forgot to mention that it's in Arabic .. haha excuse my excitement..

I'm so happy to finally being forced to write on what I loOoOove (psychology and spirituality) on a regular basis.. an almost daily one!!

Who knows, in few years.. I may publish a book!!

What inspired me to pursue that dream is the death of the amazing Qatari female writer Hind AlSwaidi. When it's time for me to go too, I would want to leave such a trace..

This is an eye opener quote for me.. !

It's about time for me to try the new ways of things..

In case you wonder about Roudha.. Well she was a smart strong women that Althanis are proud of.

She was the eldest daughter of Shiekh Jassim bin Muhammed Althani.

Women in the past did have a great role in the society. Althanis are referred to as Brothers of Rodha when praised, Alsaoods in KSA are Brothers of Nora, Alsabahs in Kuwait are Brothers of Mariam.. And so on in the Arabian gulf region. All these great women were highly respected in those societies that men are nicknamed after them!

Writing, in Arabic, is what I can do the best.
Other than eating hehehe
I believe, stronger than ever, that I should pursue that..
The writing bit :-P

I'm not scared of failure; it is the commitment that I'm concerned about. My mere writing is success to me. I'm not after impressing people. I'm really not. I couldn't care less. I want to pay the world back sort of thing. Maybe one day someone will learn a thing or two from me. Maybe I can prevent them a tear, or draw a smile on some face.. I could shouldarize my words for those who have no shoulder to cry on. At least I will always know that I tried..

but I'm becoming such a loner lately..

By lately I mean like a year or so! or twice as much.. I kind of lost count.. hehe

I like it though..

I enjoy my own company.It works.

I never thought I would be one, but I am .. for now.. a loner!!

About three months ago I blogged about my cousin saying:

"I feel a bit blue tonight.. My cousin who's a dear friend of mine just left Qatar to get an organ transplant.."

Now I'm so excited about this new news: He's got a kidney alreadyyy! May Allah grant him fast recovery with no complications!

I want to get him a very special get-well-soon gift. OMG that young man is soooo precious to meee.. He's so special in so many ways. The world is lucky to have him! He's a walking GOOD!

Ahhhh I needed that happiness so much!! Alhamdulillah!

I've been very emotional lately because of the middle eastern situations. Not just because I'm Muslim and Arab; but its mostly the HUMAN me that refuses how inhumanly my fellow humans are being treated.

I'm full of anger.. I'm a walking bundle of pure sadness :( :( .. The price of freedom is crudely HIGH.. HIGH!!

I'm so sorry Libya!!! Keep going it can't get worst!!

I'm so excited! I haven't seen her in like three months or so.. All I see is her display pictures on blackberry!!

Too bad she no longer sign in here on QL ..

Am gonna try to post pictures of what I cook If I had time.. If not I'll just put the links of the recipes.

I often remember "a woman's charm is fifty percent illusion" by Blanche of "Streetcar Named Desire". Women do create illusions to be attractive. Understanding and accepting that help them develop skills to create the" illusion" as part of their daily life routine. I applaud them for that because it enhances the attitude on how they carry out their selves in real life. Though I believe a woman's charm to be partially illusion, I believe too that it creates -to some- something far from deceit; it allows their priceless beautiful nature to emerge. It ironically reveals some truth about who they really are after all.

Awww it's the weekend alreadyyy..

I'm deeeeeeply in love with Thursdays sweet Thursdays ahhhh love'm love'm !!

I like to do something special every Thursday.. its usually effortless and simple (coz I don’t want to tire myself on weekends hehehe ) but it makes me feel good; like preparing a bowl of new salad recipe sent to my grandpa's house along with me lol I send myself it sounds stupid! am I trying too hard to sound articulate that it's starting to have affects on my mental linguistic abilities hehehe I just did it again never mind..

Speaking about weekends, I love that advertisement for "Fridays".. it's something like: why live your life waiting for weekends when you can go to Fridays any day of the week..

The driver says his shoe got stuck while driving lol.. I was on my blackberry so I didn’t pay attention.. hehe

My shoulder and my jaw hurts a little. Other than that I'm fine..

Then after I finally arrived to work I kept trying to sign in using my ATM card !!! OMG I guess I'm not that fine after all..

Thank God.. Alhamdulillah nothing serious happened..
