Holiday in Qatar due to Asian Games?

I work for QU and heard from some of my students that there might be a holiday because of the Asian Games.  I heard that the Emir would declare it a holiday and everyone would be excused form work.  Is this true?  Would someone please set the record straight?

 

As much as I would love it to happen, i doubt it  but would love to know!

just another rumour. It started on Saturday saying that from the 29th onwards would be vacation...surprise!! no vacation.

American School off the whole month of December because of the Games. While my son school at DESS just open as normal.
