JoJo can trace your calls
I was driving home last night in my huge American gas guzzling automobile thinking I was probably the uncoolest guy in Doha when DJ JoJo came on the radio. Reassured that there was at least one person uncooler than me, I turned the radio volume up. JoJo was doing one of his incomprehensible phone-ins, asking moronic questions for his seven listeners to answer. One listener called in and shouted "You suck" and hung up. JoJo didn't like this and sternly told his five remaining listeners that QBS is a "governmental" radio station and that all bad calls would be traced and the perpetrators dealt with. So be warned, JoJo is on to you.

Paranoia ...It is true that calls, of course, especially the line that we have is totally traceable. GSM has a feature like the GPS which can tell where you are in real-time. So it's not surprising.
What should surprise you is that this call-tracing is not accessed by any ordinary person unless it has something to do with "clear and present danger". I dont think that caller who made a provoked or random or unwarranted feedback, "You suck" to the DJ on the phone falls under in that category. It could be that caller's personal-honest opinion and out of instinct the DJ replied with some quotable lines like that.
Also, when you open up your lines to the public it is called "third party" meaning, the DJ, the radio station and not even QTel who gives callers the access to send and make calls to whomever they want, has in any control to it especially if they decided to air these live calls. Otherwise, callers will not feel cofmfortable and will always bear in mind that their calls are always "being watched" as the DJ's said it...

Riding camels is FUN. ...Maybe jojo was joking. They'll never trace the caller for such a comment. I listen to callers for Qatar Radio and they talk politics against the governor family.. nothing happened to them they are still calling. One of them named Aisha Almuhannadi she keeps calling "Good morning my beloved Home" and she does it all the time. However, she gets no positive result.
I think unless the callers encouraged any terrorist action against the security of the country nothing will be done in their regard.
