please advise me
i will move to qater in sep.2006
my wife had a master degree in medical laboratory science
is it easy to her toget job in qater ??????
and from where i have to start applying to her to get job.
 did  qater ministry of health required qualification exam or licence to medical staff
thanx 4 any help

Medical License ...Yes she will definitely need a medical license. Not too long ago a Jordanian was sentenced in absentia for practising medicine at Hamad Hospital for a year with a fake degree.
Of course he's a quack but the problem is with Hamad Hospital that employed him. Apparently the degree was from the University of Sanaa. Now why would a hospital that boasts world-class equipment resort to getting doctors who are not world-class? Because they're cheaper. What a shame.
As for your wife, unless you know someone here or plan to come before your move it will be difficult. Once you are here she can get in touch with various private clinics and hospitals and take it from there.
