A visit visa is valid for a month's stay, renewable for another month. You have to be careful about her age as immigration do not like to issue visas to seniors over 65. They do but it requires special approval. Speaking from personal experience.

I got it from Al Atiyyah at immigration, not "wasta". He's very professional and everyone who's gone to him for anything speaks highly of him.

9long said Visa document in Arabic ...

Dear all,

This is an urgent question because I have to travel to Doha on this Sunday. I got the document of visa approval to Doha from a company in Qatar for meeting there. However, the visa document is approved in Arabic. Do you think that the Customs here in my country (Vietnam)will accept this document to get me on the flight if they cannot understand the characters in Arabic?

Many thanks in advance.

That's a question no-one here can answer, unless they're Vietnamese ex-immigration.
Check with your authorities. If you have travel restrictions in Vietnam it's something you need to find out about there.
Good luck.

Thanks e46M3,

But I think that I am not the only one in this situation. The Customs in the non-Arabic countries, do they accept this kind of document in Arabic? I am sure they cannot understand the Arabic as well as those in my country. Is anyone here used to be in the similar case like me? Today is the day off in Qatar so that I cannot do anything to secure the problem. But I assumed that the company did understand this matters should they send the Arabic document to me. Please advise.

Thanks & Regards,
Phuc

Most countries don't have travel restrictions on their citizens and don't require the showing of a visa to immigration.
It's usually airlines that sometimes ask if you have a visa to the country you're travelling to.
Check with the airline you are travelling with and tell them your situation or see if there are any airline representatives who can read Arabic at the airport.
