Angels were sent to earth to collect the soil It was red, white, brown, and black; it was soft and malleable, hard and gritty; it came from the mountains and the valleys; from infertile deserts and lush fertile plains and all the natural varieties in between. The descendants of Adam were destined to be as diverse as the handful of soil from which their ancestor was created; all have different appearances, attributes and qualities.

On the merits of the Day of Arafa
Our Master Muhammad pbuh
said, “fasting on the Day of Arafa may atone for the sins of the preceding and the coming year.”
All praise is due to Allah, by his grace righteous deeds are fulfilled. He the Almighty has blessed his servants with seasons of worship. I bear witness there is no deity but Allah with no partners. He is the Patron, the Most-Forgiving, the Forbearing, the Grateful.
I also certify that our Master Muhammad is His Messenger and beloved servant. He had worshipped His Creator and excelled. He properly fasted and prayed to Allah and circled the Kaaba. May the peace and blessings of
Assalamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters;
Today is the 29th of Thul-Qedah. Which means Dhul Hijjah is very near.
It is narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon Him) said,
“The best days of the world are the ten days, the ten days of Dhul Hijjah.”

Anyone offered Eid prayers today in State Masjid?
How was your experience?
My experience wasn't good at all, I went today for the second time to the state mMsjid, and after prayers decided to be my last visit, Everyone in Masjid was busy in taking pictures, Making Videos, Even there was a Kid sitting next to his Father just before prayers was playing on his PSP!
WTH, this is what they came for? Pictures and Videos, today State Masjid was more like a beautiful shopping mall! Pictures and videos all around, Emir was present, and a cameraman was continuously taking pictures during Khutbah! What will be the impression on other?
Some very good reminders for all Muslims posting here in QL this Ramadhan (and if Non Muslims too can benefit from any of these words then,InnalHamdulillah, all the better):
Allah the Almighty says in the Quran: "And of mankind there is he whose speech may please you (O Muhammad ), in this worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart, yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents" - Surah Baqarah:204
Narrated Aisha(May Allah be pleased with her):The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said "The most hated person to Allah is the one who is the most quarrelsome of opponents" -Sahih Al Bukhari Vol.3 Hadith No.637
Allah the Almighty and majestic said "Oh you who believe fasting has been prescribed for you like it was prescribed for those before you that you may obtain Taqwaa"
How do you greet one in the month of Ramadan? By saying Ramadan Mubarak or Ramadan Kareem? This question was asked of the noble Sheikh Uthaymeen(Raheemullah) and here is his answer.
Sheik Uthaymeen: said:
The ruling concerning this is, this phrase "Ramadan Kareem" is not correct, and the only phrase that should be said is "Ramadan Mubarak" or what resembles that. Because Ramadan is not the one that gives such that it can be called generous (Kareem), rather it is only ALLAH the Exalted that put virtue in it and made it a virtuous month and made the time period for performing (the fasting) a pillar from Islam.
REPORTED IN SAHEEH MUSLIM SHAREEF
Book 6, Number 2607:
'Imran b. Husain (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said to him or to someone else: Did you fast in the middle of Sha'ban? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: If you did not observe fast, then you should observe fast for two days.
Book 6, Number 2608:
Imran b. Husain (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace heupon him) said. to a person: Did you observe any fast in the middle of this month (Sha'ban)? He said: No. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Fast for two days instead of (one fast) when you have completed (fasts of) Ramadan.
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) that the prophet (Peace be upon him) said:
Who among you will accept or adopt of me the following five qualities and execute their meaning or teach someone to adopt them and act according to them?
I said “me, O Messenger of Allah”, he then held my hand and counted five things according to my five fingers as follows:
1. Keep away from prohibited things and you will be the best of worshipers.
2. Be content with what Allāh has given you, and you will be the richest of people.
3. Be good to your neighbor and you will be a true believer.
4. Love for other people what you love for yourself and you will be a (perfect) Muslim.

"Every Muslim has five rights over another Muslim (i.e., he has to perform five duties for another Muslim): to return the greetings, to visit the sick, to accompany funeral processions, to accept an invitation, to respond to the sneezer [i.e., to say: `Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah bestow His Mercy on you),' when the sneezer praises Allah].''
