The third Pakistan Mango Festival concluded at Souq Waqif with a record 84,600 visitors and sales of 174,152kg of fresh Pakistani mangoes.
The event was organised by the Embassy of Pakistan in Qatar, in collaboration with the Souq Waqif Management. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Muhammad Aamer, Trade and Investment Attaché Qurat-ul-Ain Zafar, and other embassy officials attended the closing ceremony.
The event highlighted the strong consumer demand in Qatar for Pakistani mangoes, renowned for their sweetness, aroma and quality. It was held despite regional supply-chain challenges and a temporary pause during the national mourning period following the passing of HH The Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The embassy said the festival celebrated growing Qatar-Pakistan trade and cultural ties, and thanked Souq Waqif Management, exporters, importers, logistics partners, volunteers, media and the Pakistani community for their support.
