Qatar National Library to Host Middle East History Conference on 19–20 October
Qatar National Library's Heritage Library, in partnership with the Khayrallah Center at North Carolina State University, will host a Middle East History Conference on October 19–20, 2026.
The conference will explore the concept of public history and its relevance to the region today, including the role of family stories, personal memories and everyday conversations in preserving history.
The event will take place from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at the QNL lecture hall, in Arabic and English with simultaneous interpretation available. Registration is open through the library's website.
