Qatar-based restaurant Bayt El Talleh is preparing to open its first branch outside the country, with a new location set to launch in Kuwait.
Images shared by Nadeeb Qatar show the restaurant’s branding displayed across the exterior of the upcoming Kuwait branch, alongside the words “coming soon.” The expansion marks an important milestone for the homegrown dining concept as it enters its first international market.
An official opening date, exact location and reservation details for the Kuwait restaurant have not yet been announced.
From Katara to a wider Gulf audience
Bayt El Talleh is best known for its location in the Katara Cultural Village, where it offers Lebanese cuisine in a setting inspired by a traditional countryside villa.
The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a menu that includes Lebanese breakfast dishes, hot and cold mezze, tabbouleh, fattoush, pastries and charcoal-grilled meats. Its elevated terrace and views across Doha have also become an important part of the dining experience.
Bayt El Talleh has expanded its presence within Qatar as well, with the restaurant also listed among the dining venues at Old Doha Port.
Bayt El Talleh begins regional expansion
The upcoming Kuwait branch represents the restaurant’s first step into an overseas market and brings a Qatar-established hospitality concept to a wider Gulf audience.
Kuwait has a competitive restaurant market with a strong demand for established regional concepts, particularly those offering Lebanese and wider Levantine cuisine. Bayt El Talleh’s expansion will allow the brand to introduce its familiar menu and dining identity to customers outside Qatar.
The announcement also highlights the growing regional reach of businesses developed in Qatar, with local restaurant and hospitality concepts increasingly exploring opportunities across Gulf markets.
Further information regarding the Kuwait branch’s opening date, menu, operating hours and booking channels is expected to be announced closer to the launch.
