MoPH Urges Residents to Buy Food Only From Licensed and Trusted Sources

Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has urged residents to pay close attention to where they purchase food, stressing that safe food begins with choosing a trusted and licensed source.

In its latest food safety guidance, the Ministry advised consumers to buy food products only from licensed retail outlets and food establishments that are subject to official monitoring and inspection.

The message is aimed at reducing potential health risks linked to food sold through unregulated or unlicensed channels.

Licensed food establishments are subject to regulatory oversight, helping ensure that food products are handled and sold in line with established safety requirements.

According to the Ministry, purchasing food from recognised and trusted outlets is an important step in protecting both personal and family health.

MoPH warns against unlicensed food sellers
