The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has launched an upgraded version of the Qatar Mushaf app, providing an integrated digital platform for Quran recitation, memorisation and reflection. The launch supports the Ministry’s digital transformation efforts in line with its strategic plan and Qatar National Vision 2030.
Among the app’s main features is a smart Quranic assistant that allows users to search Quranic meanings, request explanations of verses and receive answers to Quran-related questions quickly and easily. It also provides an integrated memorisation and revision system that enables users to track their progress verse by verse and organise review plans.
The upgraded app also includes complete Quran recitations by prominent reciters from Qatar and across the Islamic world, along with a library of recognised Quranic commentaries. Additional services include a digital tasbeeh counter, Qibla direction and a feature displaying the time remaining until prayers.
A dedicated section also traces the story of Qatar Mushaf through its different stages, from the original idea and writing process to proofreading, printing and its eventual launch.
The Ministry said the upgraded app was designed according to the latest technical standards to provide a simpler and more efficient user experience while expanding access to trusted Quranic content.
