Role Purpose
The Sales Associate is the face of AOC, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, processing transactions, and supporting the visual presentation of the store. This role plays a key part in enhancing the customer experience by ensuring product knowledge, merchandising standards, and store cleanliness are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain punctuality and uphold a professional work ethic.
- Adhere to established processes and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Open and close the store in coordination with the team, ensuring all assigned areas (Trading Cave, bulks, back office, trash bins, snacks area) are clean and ready for operation.
- Welcome and assist customers with product knowledge, enthusiasm, and professionalism—particularly with Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other TCG products.
- Accurately process sales transactions—including cash, card, and digital payments—via the POS system. Ensure to log in and out of your personal POS account when not handling cashier duties.
- Replenish product displays and ensure VM (Visual Merchandising) standards are followed.
- Assist with pricing and re-pricing of products using TCG-approved pricing tools and applications.
- Assist Storekeeper with monthly inventory counts.
- Maintain tidiness and order on the sales floor and in the trading cave including restocking items and ensuring the snack area and cashier counter are presentable.
- Support the execution of in-store events, weekend tournaments, and special campaigns.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, including end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Inform management on key community developments/ requirements from the TCG community.
- Support social media management and content creation, as needed.
- Perform additional business-related duties as assigned from time to time.
- Maintain proper attire by wearing the designated AOC uniform during working hours.
