A Brief History

Al Yasmeen is one of the residential districts of Lusail City, the master-planned city developed to the north of Doha as an extension of the capital. It was master-planned as an integrated community, with the Yasmeen City development associated with Al-Alfia Holding, and took shape as part of Lusail's wider build-out over the 2010s and 2020s. Like much of Lusail, its residential delivery accelerated in the years surrounding Qatar's hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and it has continued to grow as an inland residential pocket within the city.

Architecture & Character

The district is characterised by contemporary mid-rise apartment buildings arranged along landscaped streets, in keeping with Lusail's modern smart-city aesthetic rather than a traditional villa-compound layout. Homes are predominantly apartments, ranging from studios to larger multi-bedroom units, many of them recently built and offered furnished or semi-furnished.
