Historical Context & Architecture

A Brief History

Huzoom is one of the newer residential districts within Lusail City, the large master-planned development led by Qatari Diar and delivered in stages as part of Qatar National Vision 2030. It is developed by the Lusail Real Estate Development Company, which released villa plots across the district for private construction alongside developer-built homes. In 2024, Qatari Diar signed a financing agreement with QNB Group to support land-plot purchases in the Huzoom Lusail project, underlining its role in the city's continued northward expansion.

Architecture & Character

Unlike Lusail's high-rise Marina and Fox Hills districts, Huzoom is a predominantly low-rise villa neighbourhood, planned for nearly 2,900 villa plots ranging from around 400 to 800 square metres. The homes are contemporary in style, many with private gardens, pools and terraces, and are arranged around community mosques, playgrounds, retail outlets and generous landscaped open space. Pedestrian and cycling routes weave through the district, giving it a quiet, spacious and residential character rather than a commercial one.
