special leave allowed under notice period?

Can any one guide if one is under notice period of two months with its employer, so in the meanwhile can he go to his country and come back. This is just as when one wants to change to another employer here in Qatar , then it will be difficult to take exit permit later.

If I were the employer I'd say "sod off" and wait two months. He will have no assurance of your return.
