HH The Amir receives telephone call from Russian President

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian President expressed his country’s solidarity with Qatar in the face of Iranian aggression, and its readiness to provide any support or assistance that would contribute to overcoming the effects of these attacks and strengthening its security and stability.

For his part, HH the Amir expressed his appreciation to Vladimir Putin for his sincere feelings and the solidarity and support he showed, appreciating the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The call also addressed developments in the region, with both sides emphasizing the importance of prioritizing dialogue and negotiations, and intensifying diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and maintain regional security and stability.

The strategic relations between the two friendly countries were also reviewed, as well as ways to support and strengthen them in various fields.
