Msheireb Downtown Doha gears up for two days of tech and business

Msheireb Properties has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Inc. Arabia to bring a new series of business and innovation events to Msheireb Downtown Doha, including the return of the Downtown Tech Summit and the Qatar debut of the Best in Business Awards.

The collaboration aims to strengthen Msheireb Downtown Doha’s role as a destination for entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and business engagement, while creating more opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders to connect and exchange ideas.

Under the partnership, the second edition of the Downtown Tech Summit will take place on November 17, 2026, following its inaugural edition in 2025.

This year’s summit will be expanded into a more regional event, bringing together professionals and decision-makers from across the business and technology sectors to explore developments shaping the region’s economy.

The following day, November 18, Msheireb Downtown Doha will host the inaugural Qatar edition of the Best in Business Awards.

The awards, which have previously been held in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, will recognise businesses and leaders from across the region, while placing a particular spotlight on Qatar’s growing and increasingly diverse private sector.

The events form part of a wider programme designed to establish Msheireb Downtown Doha as a hub for business conversations, collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Eng. Ali Mohammed Al Kuwari, Chief Executive Officer of Msheireb Properties, said the partnership reflects the company’s efforts to create an environment where entrepreneurs, innovators and business leaders can connect and grow.

He said initiatives such as the Downtown Tech Summit and Best in Business Awards would further strengthen Msheireb Downtown Doha’s position as a destination that supports enterprise, encourages innovation and contributes to Qatar’s long-term economic ambitions.

Inc. Arabia is the Middle East edition of global business publication Inc. and focuses on entrepreneurs, innovators and business leaders shaping economies across the MENA region.

The publication is operated in the region by 7awi Media Group, which manages a portfolio of digital media platforms across the Middle East.

Anas Abbar, Co-founder and Group CEO of 7awi Media Group, said the partnership would provide new opportunities to showcase entrepreneurs, companies and innovators contributing to Qatar’s economic growth.

Beyond the two events, the collaboration will also include business-focused editorial content highlighting companies, individuals and ideas shaping Qatar’s economy.

The partnership builds on Msheireb Downtown Doha’s growing presence as a venue for conferences, leadership forums and industry gatherings.
