QCAA Closes 2 Travel and Air Cargo Agencies, Deregisters 10 for Violations

The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has announced the administrative closure of two travel and air cargo agencies and the deregistration of 10 agencies for non-compliance with approved laws and regulations.

The action followed inspection campaigns conducted by the Air Transport Department as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight and regulate the air transport sector.

QCAA reaffirmed its commitment to expanding inspection activities and ensuring that travel and air cargo agencies operate in accordance with the applicable requirements.

The Authority urged all agencies to comply fully with regulations and refrain from carrying out any travel or air cargo-related activities without obtaining the required licences from the competent department.

It said the measures were taken in accordance with Article 3 of Law No. 3 of 2025.
