Real Estate Trading Exceeds QAR 277 Million in One Week

The volume of real estate trading through sales contracts registered at the Ministry of Justice’s Department of Real Estate Registration reached QAR256.63m on May 24 and 25, according to the department’s latest weekly bulletin.

The bulletin also showed that the total value of sales contracts for residential units during the same period amounted to QAR21.02m.

Properties traded during the period included vacant land, residences, residential buildings, commercial shops, and residential units.

Real estate transactions were concentrated in the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Daayen, Umm Salal, Al Khor, Al Thakhira and Al Shamal, as well as in the areas of Al Kharaej, Lusail 69, The Pearl, Al Wukair and Ghar Thuaib.

The bulletin followed a week of strong market activity, with the volume of real estate transactions registered by the Department of Real Estate Registration between May 17 and May 21 exceeding QAR558m.
