Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani attended the graduation ceremony of the tenth cohort of Master’s students at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, alongside several ministers, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr Azmi Bishara, and board members.
Held at the Sheraton Hotel, the ceremony celebrated the graduation of 246 students representing 32 nationalities, including 163 graduates from the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and 83 from the College of Economics, Management, and Public Policy.
Among them were 100 students supported by the Qatar Fund for Development through the Qatar Scholarship Program for International Students, while 73 graduates were Qatari nationals.
Certificates were presented by the prime minister, senior institute officials, and Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Abdulaziz Al Horr, who participated in honoring graduates of the Executive Master’s Program in Diplomatic Studies and International Cooperation.
With this cohort, the institute has graduated 1,886 students across ten cohorts since its establishment. The institute currently offers 20 internationally accredited Master’s programs and eight doctoral programs.
