Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of flight operations between Doha and key destinations across the Middle East, including the reinstatement of daily services to the United Arab Emirates and Syria.

Starting April 23, the airline will resume daily flights to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Sharjah International Airport (SHJ). A daily service to Damascus International Airport (DAM) will follow from May 1.

Qatar Airways said these resumptions form part of a phased restoration of its global network, building on the carrier’s mid‑April announcement confirming that its flight schedule will expand from June 16 to serve more than 150 destinations across six continents.

The airline has advised passengers to regularly check its official website or mobile app for the latest updates, and to ensure that their contact details are correct and up to date in their bookings so they can receive any notifications about schedule changes.

Qatar Airways has also outlined flexible options for customers with upcoming travel. If you have a confirmed booking with a travel date between 28 February and 15 September 2026, you are eligible for:

  • Complimentary date changes to a new travel date up to 31 October 2026 when rebooking on flights operated by Qatar Airways, subject to seat availability and applicable fare seasonality.
  • If your flight is impacted by operational changes, you remain eligible for additional fee‑free changes until 31 October 2026.
  • A refund of the unused ticket value, with the airline noting that refunds may take up to 28 working days to be processed.

Qatar Airways stressed that all flight schedules remain subject to change or cancellation due to operational, regulatory, safety or other circumstances beyond its control, and urged customers to review the latest information before travelling.
