The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic closure along approximately 500 meters of Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street in the direction from Al Wedyaan Street to Al Amir Street.
During the closure, the opposite lane of the same road will remain open to traffic.

According to Ashghal, the road closure will be implemented this Friday, September 17, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
The closure will remain in place until November 30, 2019.

Ashghal said the temporary closure is being implemented to facilitate the completion of infrastructure service lanes as part of the Improvement of Main Roads in Al Nasr Area Project.
During this period, road users on Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street will be required to use the traffic signal at the intersection of Mohamed Bin Al Qassim and Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Streets to turn right or left then arrive at the parallel road to reach Al Amir Street.
Ashghal said it will install road signs advising motorists of the closure.
All road users are urged to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
