Centara West Bay Hotel & Residences Doha is delighted to announce the appointment of Natthapong Manothitikul or Chef Torr as their newest native Thai chef, who will oversee the entire food selection at Thai Kitchen Restaurant.

He started his professional career as Thai Chef at the Little Bangkok Thai Restaurant in Dubai, in 2011. Chef Torr returned to Bangkok to take the helm in the hospital field at the renowned International Bangkok Hospital, Thailand in 2014 where he joined the professional team of nutrition and healthy menu development for guest well-being. In 2015, he relocated to the Maldives to head up Suan Bua Thai Restaurant and Teppanyaki Bar, Centara Ras Fushi Maldives. 

Now, he joins the team at Centara West Bay to bring his passion for culinary excellence and authentic Thai taste to Thai Kitchen, and the hotel concept, Creative Catering by Centara. Chef Torr Thai Kitchen menu takes you on a culinary journey across Thailand's four regions with distinct flavours to serve at your table or event. 

“Food is one of the most authentic ways to showcase the memories you’ve grown up with. With each dish, I can showcase my homeland, my memories, and bring Thailand that much closer to everyone.” Chef Torr stated.

Using only the freshest ingredients with lemongrass grown at the hotel, the authenticity of each dish can truly be appreciated. “We are proud to have a team of talented Thai Chefs with Chef Torr to showcase the hospitality and authenticity in each of their dishes coupled with Thai hospitality that is at the core of Centara” stated Sean Spinks, the hotel General Manager.
