Parts of the country may experience strong winds in addition to very hot and slightly dusty weather, Qatar Meteorology Department has stated on its official social media pages.
According to data released by the department, inshore northwesterly winds are expected to build between 10 to 20 knots, with gusting expected to reach 23 knots in some places.

Offshore, northwesterly winds may move between 5 to 15 knots and rise to 15 to 25 knots, with gusting to go up to 30 knots in some areas.
The Met department has cautioned the public to be extra careful during such conditions and take the necessary precautions to ensure safety. The weather may get from misty to dusty and therefore residents and citizens are advised to be careful when outdoors.

All sea-related activities are also unsuitable in the current weather conditions, the department has said, urging the public to refrain from participating in any such activity for their wellbeing.
In terms of temperature, Doha may experience a temperature of 47 degree celsius.
Direct exposure to sunlight must be avoided, in addition to other safety measures the department reiterated.
