Qatar’s metrological department has warned that the country can expect to see strong winds in some parts on Friday noon.

According to the weather report, offshore areas also are expected to experience strong winds and high seas by this afternoon, reported Gulf Times.

The wind speed may go up to 20 knots inshore and 25 knots offshore, with the sea level rising to 7ft in the north by the afternoon.

The detailed forecast also says hazy to misty conditions are likely in some places in the early hours of the day, followed by slightly dusty conditions and a hot day with some clouds.

A maximum temperature of 40C is expected on Friday in Doha, Mesaieed, Al Wakrah, Abu Samra and Al Khor. The minimum temperature may drop to 23C in Abu Samra, while in Doha it will be 30C.
