During its weekly meeting, the Cabinet approved a draft agreement on the mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic and special passports between Jordan and Qatar.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan earlier today.
HE the Minister of Public Health briefed the Cabinet on the latest progress in measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 at the start of the meeting.
Furthermore, the Cabinet reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to work with the procedures and precautionary measures in place to battle the pandemic.

The Cabinet had then considered several topics as per the agenda, the first of which was the approval of a draft agreement on mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic and special passports between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Moreover, a draft twin city agreement between the Municipality of Doha in the State of Qatar and Nur-Sultan in the Republic of Kazakhstan was also approved by the Cabinet.
Following this, the Cabinet approved a voluntary contribution to support the 2021 International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) of UNESCO.
Lastly, the results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in the Russian Federation were reviewed by the Cabinet and the appropriate decision was taken.
