The Qatar Red Crescent Society along with the Swiss Embassy in Qatar and the Palestinian Embassay in Qatar is holding a charity concert at Katara this Thursday on April 30th 8.00 pm.

The concert will be headlines by the Trio Joubran with an opening act by the Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi.

The concert aims to raise money for the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem, Palestine. Located in Bethlehem, Palestine, the Caritas Baby Hospital is run by Children's Relief Bethlehem, a Switzerland charity organization founded 60 years ago.

The hospital seeks better health conditions in Palestine, particularly in Hebron and Bethlehem, the southern West Bank, by providing quality services for Palestinian children, regardless of their social, religious, or economic backgrounds.

In 2014 the hospital served 38,000 children, 4,384 inpatients and 34,000 outpatients. The hospital needs funds for a new Neonatal ICU unit, a Mother's school and a washing machine to help improve hygiene standards.

Tickets for the concert cost QR 150. All revenue from ticket sales go directly to Caritas Baby Hospital.
