The children, a 3-year-old boy, and a 7-month-old girl were natives of the southern state of Kerala, Gulf Times reported.
After a thorough examination, the Ministry of Public Health today revealed that the children's demise may have been due to chemical exposure.
The Ministry of Public Health explained that the preliminary results, of investigation done by the medical team at the Emergency Department at Hamad Medical Corporation, on the causes of the death of the two children, showed the possibility of exposure to a chemical or insecticide.
