Roadto2022Go announced via twitter today the partial reopening of Corniche Street from the Sheraton intersection to the Ras Bu Aboud intersection from 5 pm onwards.
It was further noted that Corniche Street will fully reopen from December 25 onwards from the Ras Bu Aboud intersection to the Sheraton intersection.
Corniche Street will be partially reopened in a one-way direction(from the Sheraton intersection to Ras Abu Aboud intersection) as of December 19 at 5:00 PM as shown below:

In accordance with the preparation of the World Cup in Qatar, the Corniche Street was closed for vehicles and pedestrianized on November 1, 2022.
With the conclusion of the World Cup yesterday, December 18, 2022, the Corniche is being opened phase by phase for vehicles.
