Crowne Plaza Doha – The Business Park is joining the rest of the world for Gout de France (Good France) on March 19, 2015.
More than 1,500 restaurants from 150 countries are participating in the same evening as part of this global event organized at the initiative of the famous French Chef, Alain Ducasse and the French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, Mr. Laurent Fabius.
The concept of this operation is to bring together, for the first time, restaurants from all over the world to celebrate French gourmet cooking that has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2010.
In line with this international event, Crowne Plaza Doha – The Business Park is one of the seven restaurants in Qatar participating with the hotel’s French Executive Chef Dominique Morin preparing an exquisite six-course menu paired with the best selection of vino.
“We are excited for the opportunity to be part of Gout de France in Qatar and to offer the best French cuisine to our valued guests.
This marks another milestone in our ambition of becoming a food and beverage destination in this part of the city, especially during such an exciting time in the capital,” says General Manager Savino Leone.
To continue the French gastronomic celebration, Crowne Plaza Doha – The Business Park is opening Café de Paris, a French Brasserie pop-up restaurant.
For a week, this typical French Brasserie will serve ala carte dinner menu spanning of 17 courses with local ingredients and fresh produce, per Chef Morin’s signature style.
The hotel is also flying in French accordionist Yann Cotty who will perform for the entire week.
The Good France/Goût de France Gala Dinner is on March 19, Thursday, 7:00 PM.
Café de Paris is open only from March 20 to 27, 2015.
