Chief Executive Officer of Doha Bank, Dr. R Seetharaman received the “Best CEO of the Century for Peace and Humanity Award” at the Trilateral Global Summit held in London recently.

The World Humanitarian Drive (WHD), a non-profit organization that promotes peace and harmony, organized the summit that convened international diplomats, corporate heads, policy makers, investors and influencers from different fields to share their expertise and strengthen ties. 

Dr. Seetharaman gained honors for his continuous commitment to sustainable development over the past three decades.

The award recognized Dr. Seetharaman’s efforts in advancing sustainability, philanthropy, human development, continuing education, and knowledge sharing.

Dr. Seetharaman was also one of the keynote speakers at the summit. His session was titled "A leader's journey and a banker's view on global economics and trade." 

“Convergence and innovation are the key elements for a successful organization. People, process and technology should converge effectively for the benefit of the organization. Innovation should be a continuous process in organizations and not a one-time affair,” Dr. Seetharaman said.

The Doha Bank CEO is one of the most prominent business personalities and a distinguished economic expert in the Gulf region.

He has been awarded many prestigious awards including the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award, which is the highest honor conferred on overseas Indians by the Government of India.
