Ever since four neighbouring nations started subjecting Qatar to an illegal blockade in June, 2017, the country has been actively expanding its trade horizons.
It signed trade deals and opened up shipping lines to new destinations, and now, it is back to business as usual.
Taking it one step further, Qatar will organise the inaugural International Products Exhibition & Conference and it is expected to promote trade between Qatar and other regional nations, reported Gulf Times.

The event, which will begin tomorrow at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre and run until October 10, will highlight Qatar’s most important investment opportunities and also look at ways to overcome the challenges of expanding investments in the region.

The exhibition, being held under the patronage of Qatar’s Prime Minister and Interior Minister HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, will bring together political and business leaders, government officials and entrepreneurs from across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia, reported The Peninsula.

The meeting will play hosts to representatives of participating nations, business associations, private business owners as well as entrepreneurs.
Qatar’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce said the exhibition will shed light on laws and regulations governing investments in Qatar as well as incentives which the country offers to its investors.

A Qatari pavilion will bring together representatives of several ministries and government bodies as well as a number of local companies under the umbrella of Qatar Chamber and Qatar Development Bank, reported Qatar Tribune.
The country is keen to strengthen economic cooperation and bolster bilateral trade with its key partners around the world.
The exhibition will also help bolster the role of Qatari private sector in building effective partnerships with counterparts across the world.
Representatives from Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan are expected to attend the exhibition and conference.
