Residents of Doha have been flocking to Magical Festival Village since it opened earlier in January. It is seen as an innovative concept combining shopping, entertainment and restaurants in an open air venue.

The aim is to attract more regional visitors to Qatar from neighbouring countries, by having a one-stop outdoors entertainment venue.

It is located in the empty parking lot in the shadow of the St Regis Doha. The venue is extensive with a castle and water fountain.

Most visitors have been enjoying the central fountain with food area. Food offerings are mainly fast food and snacks from established eateries as well as local Instagram businesses.

Family Package

To let visitors have even more fun, organizers have teamed up with the largest community platform in the country, Qatar Living, to introduce a Family Package.

The Family Package can be bought at the village for just QAR250 (but it actually let's you enjoy meals and activities worth QAR425)

Here's what's included in the Family Package:

- A meal at Alice Cafe & Restaurant worth QAR50

- Play games/rides worth QAR200 (about 30 games/rides) with a friend or by yourself

- A voucher worth QAR100 that can be used at any of the shopping outlets/stores

- A single-entry ticket worth QAR75 to Cique Du Royal

The Family Package gives you a value of QAR425, but is only priced at QAR250 per person to let you experience all the fun stuff on offer at The Magical Festival Village.
