3. Zinatha Exhibition 

The eighth edition of Zinatha Exhibition returns to Al Hazm with luxury women’s fashion and lifestyle collections. The exhibition features Abayas, Jalabiyas, beauty products, accessories, and seasonal collections from across the GCC and Arab countries.

4. Drawing for Adults Workshop 

Museum of Islamic Art hosts a drawing and shading workshop for adults. Participants will learn basic techniques and improve their visual skills through observation-based drawing.

5. Doha International Book Fair 2026

8. 4TH GCC Games (old) 

The 4th GCC Games Doha 2026 is a major regional multi-sport event bringing together over 1,074 elite male and female athletes from the six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations. Hosted by Qatar from May 11 to 22, 2026, the event features competition across 19 sports, aiming to strengthen sportsmanship, regional unity, and cultural closeness.

9. Nine – by Jane Shepard, Doha Players Production 

The mind is the only prison. Nine is powerful and “in the moment” theatre, a double expresso with a double shot chaser and an afterburn to linger in the mind. An intense featurette about two women held against their will and the mind games they play to keep one another alive. Locked in a room and chained apart, language is their only currency, and balance of power means everything when a single word becomes the hanging point between life and death. A harrowing, funny, and tender account of the psychological price of surviving.

Katara Cultural Village Foundation has unveiled a Contemporary Graphic Art Exhibition, showcasing more than 170 works by 29 artists from Qatar and around the world. Created using modern printmaking techniques, the exhibition highlights diverse styles and perspectives across generations.

17. Ho Tzu Nyen: Hotel Aporia

Hotel Aporia (2019) by Ho Tzu Nyen is a striking multi-channel installation that explores the complexities of history, memory, and ideology. Blending film, archival research, and immersive visuals, the work reflects on interwar Japan through the stories of kamikaze pilots, philosophers, and cultural figures. With its haunting atmosphere and cinematic perspective inspired by Ozu, the installation invites viewers into a reflective space where history feels both distant and deeply personal.

Mathaf celebrates its 15th anniversary with Resolutions: Evolving Realities, an exhibition revisiting key works from its early years alongside a new large-scale sculpture by Ismail Fattah. Running until 22 August 2026, it offers a fresh look at the museum’s journey and evolving artistic dialogue.

Haroon Mirza’s ‘Everything was, is and always will be’ turns light and energy into immersive artworks that blend technology and spirituality. Presented at the Fire Station, the exhibition uses sound, solar power, and visual patterns to explore the connection between human perception, nature, and cosmic rhythm.

Empire of Light: Visions and Voices of Afghanistan exhibition explores the country’s rich cultural heritage beyond the headlines. Featuring nearly 100 objects from ancient artifacts to contemporary art. The exhibition highlights Afghanistan’s deep history as a crossroads of creativity, tradition, and artistic expression.
