The back-to-school countdown has begun! There's only a few more days left to enjoy the summer holidays before the school run starts. Trampoline Wall Show

Witness the live action of the skilled performers at the Trampoline Wall Show in Mall of Qatar. Enjoy the performance featuring a series of bounces, flips and climbs as the performers reach unprecedented heights during the show. Head to the Oasis Stage at Mall of Qatar during the evening hours for a memorable experience.

Alumni Talk: Changing our disability biases

Listen to the Instagram live by QF alumna, Sabika Shaban as she challenges the disability biases that exist in our society. During her talk, Shaban will explore some of the unconscious biases that exist about disability and discuss positive steps that can be taken to avoid it. The instagram live will start at 7 pm on the @qfalumni instagram page.

Tufting Workshop

The tufting workshop returns this week at the Msheireb Museums. Exclusively for kids over 12 years, the workshop will be conducted by ARTBOX Studio giving the opportunity for your little ones to unleash their creativity. At the workshop kids will be able to create works of art and take them home as well.

College Night

The Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will be hosting a college night for university students, featuring a tour of Mathaf’s permanent collection, library and an artistic workshop. The event will take place on August 22 and is by registration only.

Earth Talks Series

Renowned Lebanese chef Leyla Fathallah and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) will be hosting an ‘Earth Talks Series’ on stopping food loss and food waste for a sustainable future. At the event you will be able to gain invaluable insights on paving the way for a greener planet and discover solutions and strategies to tackle food waste in the MENA region.

School Checklist – Preparing for school, discovering beyond

Gear up for the upcoming school year by visiting the ‘School Checklist’ event at Msheireb Galleria. At the event you can be a part of fun-filled learning corners and sign up for exciting workshops. The event also gives you the opportunity to stock up on essential school supplies.

Still life drawing workshop

If you enjoy drawing, sign up for the still life drawing workshop conducted by Noor Mazen Qussini at the Museum of Islamic Arts. At this workshop participants will be able to learn the basics of drawing and shading through a still life composition. The workshop will be conducted in both English and Arabic and is by registration only.

Fostering Change: MENA Region Libraries and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

An event organized by the Qatar National Library (QNL) primarily for library and SDG professionals, the Fostering Change event features lively discussions about innovative library programs, collaborative initiatives, and transformative services that contribute to achieving the SDGs. Participants at the event can explore the power of libraries acting as catalysts for change and impact.
