With summer setting in, you can expect a lot of ups and downs with the weather in Qatar.

According to the Qatar Meteorology Department, weather inshore until 6 pm today will be slightly dusty to blowing dust in some places and partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered rain and thunder at times. They also issued a warning of expected strong wind in some areas.

Offshore, it will be dusty and cloudy to partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at times, the report added, warning of expected thundery rain at places associated with strong wind and high seas.

Wind inshore will be southeasterly to southwesterly 08 to 18/23 knots at places at times, shifted to northwesterly later. Offshore, it will be southeasterly to northeasterly 08 to 18 knot, reaching 32 knots at places during thundery rain, shifted to northwesterly 18 to 25 knots by night.

Visibility will be 04 to 08/03 kilometer or less at some spots.

Sea state inshore will be two to four feet, rises to five feet at places at times, while offshore it will be three to five feet, rises to nine feet at places during thundery rain, reaching from five to eight feet.
