The Qatar Meteorology Department predicts strong dusty wind from tonight until Tuesday, and has advised residents to avoid going to sea, and to follow the latest weather updates through official social media accounts.

According to a report by The Peninsula, Qatar is expected to be affected by dusty northwesterly winds from tonight until Tuesday, March 3rd. Visibility is expected to drop below 1 km in some areas, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Marine warnings of high waves and strong winds will be issued where wave height is expected to reach 8 to 10 feet.

On a brighter note, the winds will bring temperatures in Qatar down to a normal of around 30°C and lows of 20°C.
