The Legtaifiya Tram connected to the Doha Metro is underground, manually driven, and travels through four major stations - Marina, Marina Promenade, Esplanade, and Yacht Club.
With Lusail becoming one of the prime tourist destinations in Qatar, we have decided to cover the tram which travels through Lusail Marina District.
The dazzling promenade along the Marina District forms the seafront edge, giving access to marinas, seating (designed to display the stunning corniche), walkways, food kiosks, water features, and kids playgrounds.
Marina
The Marina highlights the beauty of Qatar’s skyline, unveiling a closer view of the Crescent Tower.
A 10-minute walk from the station will take you to the ‘I Love Lusail’ sign located next to the Lusail Marina Corniche, displaying mesmerizing water fountains, yachts, and more!
Marina Promenade
The Marina Food Arena is only a 5-minute walk from The Marina Promenade station - offering eloquent foods from more than 60 different restaurants with a variety of cuisine.
The corniche, located nearby, is the perfect spot to visit after enjoying a bite from the Marina Food Arena. There are plenty of pathways to wander along the beautiful corniche.
The Marina Plaza is an open commercial area that offers restaurants, shops, children's playgrounds, cinemas, outdoor kiosks, water features, and more.
It is strategically located next to the Marina Promenade. The first phase of this project is expected to be completed by July 2022.
Yacht Club
Those wanting to munch and experience delicious cuisines must exit from the Yacht Club station as it is only one minute away from the Marina Food Arena.
There are dedicated areas featuring different restaurants, cafes, and food trucks with the option to dine-in or takeaway.
Esplanade
The Esplanade station is nearest to the Marina Corniche, which has an exquisite view of the sea and Crescent Tower.
A 5-minute walk from the station will take you to the restaurant ‘Baguette - The best sandwich’ located next to the stunning Corniche.
