As Qatar continues to gradually lift the restrictions imposed to combat the novel coronavirus, FAHES Centers will resume its normal operations for vehicle inspections starting from August 09, 2020, in coordination with the Traffic Department.
All centers except the one at the Industrial area will begin inspection on August 9.
Woqood also clarified that the exemption from a physical inspection of vehicles will stop effective August 1. The vehicles registered online for inspection after July 31 will need to undergo a complete inspection at the FAHES centers.

Heavy vehicles that were being inspected at the FAHES Center in the Industrial area prior to the closure will now be inspected at FAHES Al Mazrooua.
The technical inspections for all vehicles before the renewal of Istimara (registration) were exempted for the last few months as part of COVID precautionary measures taken by the department.
The ministry has also reminded the public including citizens, residents, and other legal persons in the country to follow the safety measures implemented to reduce the spread of the virus.
