The Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee announced operational readiness to host Web Summit Qatar 2026, set to take place from February 1 to 4 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), with tickets expected to sell out soon.

The Committee announced this during its final meeting, which confirmed the completion of all organisational and logistical preparations, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional edition and reaffirming Qatar’s capability to host major global events to the highest international standards.

The third edition of the summit will be held at an expanded venue — including the park and surrounding outdoor areas of DECC — to accommodate record participation and provide additional space for discussions and activations. This edition aims to enhance the overall attendee experience and reflect the summit’s continued growth and rising global profile.

Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee Chairman HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, who is also Director of the Government Communications Office, said, “With days remaining to the summit, we’re prepared to welcome a record number of participants at the region’s largest technology event, reflecting the summit’s sustained growth and international appeal over successive editions.”

“This growth reinforces the summit’s standing as a leading global platform for technology and innovation, while also affirming Qatar’s position as a destination for innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship. This success aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 to advance a knowledge-based economy, attract investments, and enable broader collaboration between startups, investors, and institutions. In the years ahead, the focus will be on sustaining this momentum and strengthening the summit’s role as a long-term driver of innovation and strategic partnerships, regionally and globally.”

Recognised as the fastest-growing technology event in the MENA region and a leading platform connecting entrepreneurs with investors and strategic partners, Web Summit Qatar 2026 will bring together more than 1,600 startups from around the world.

There will also be over 400 speakers, including global leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs, addressing a broad range of issues across 14 tracks covering advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, fintech, energy, digital government, health, industry, and other priority sectors.

The committee further noted the participation of more than 800 investors, over 180 partners, and more than 600 international media representatives, reinforcing the summit’s position as a global platform for dialogue, partnership, and knowledge exchange across the technology ecosystem.

Web Summit Qatar 2026 attracts leading startups and technology leaders from across sectors, providing an interactive platform that supports scalable ideas, and reinforcing Qatar’s position as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship and a gateway to regional and international markets.
