Qatar’s Government Communications Office (GCO) yesterday unveiled a new WhatsApp service to offer information on the country’s labor laws and regulations.

In a tweet on its Twitter page, the GCO said it has launched the service with the cooperation of the Ministry of Administrative Development Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA).

Available round-the-clock, the service can be accessed on WhatsApp on the number: 60060601.

It can also be activated via this link.

As you connect to the service, it provides an option to receive information in six different languages including Arabic, English, Urdu, Hindi, Nepali and Malayalam.

Employees and employers in Qatar can use the service to get clear, reliable and up-to-date information on work-related topics such as: Know your rights, Apply through Qatar Visa Center, Complaints, Application Status, Q&As and important numbers.
