Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, paid a visit to Hamad Medical Corporation's Surgical Specialty Center today to check on the health of a Qatari citizen who was the first in the State of Qatar to receive a successful lung transplant in June.

Moreover, HE had met with the medical team that performed the operation during his visit. HE praised the surgical team, which includes surgeons, doctors, and medical assistant technicians, for their work.

HE congratulated and thanked them for their efforts and competence in executing one of the most complex operations and wished them well in their careers. In addition, he wished the Qatari citizen a speedy recovery.

Furthermore, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior was accompanied by HE the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, and a number of Hamad Medical Corporation senior officers.
