Qatar Museums and Qatar Calendar House invite the public to witness a total lunar eclipse on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at MIA Park. The free event runs from 3pm to 11pm.

Families can join guided tours, treasure hunts, and art workshops starting at 3pm (registration required via the Qatar Museums website).

According to Dr. Bashir Marzouk from QCH, the entire eclipse will be visible in Qatar. The partial phase starts at 7:27pm, the total eclipse begins at 8:31pm, peaks at 9:12pm, and ends at 9:53pm, with the final partial stage closing at 10:56pm.

The celestial show will last nearly three and a half hours, turning the moon into a dramatic red “Blood Moon” visible across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
