According to the Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the economy of the nation is predicted to expand by 4.9 percent this year as a result of the rise in energy prices and the beneficial effects of the state's policies and actions.
Amir was speaking during the inaugural session of the Bloomberg-organized Qatar Economic Forum.
He continued by saying that the pandemic had both shown the size of the gap between wealthy and developing countries and added to it.
Amir finished by expressing his certainty that the widespread global involvement in the 2022 FIFA World Cup will serve as a springboard for bolstering the communication and conversation bridges.
