His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will set out on a three-nation journey today.

As part of the three-day tour, HH the Amir will first visit the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, followed by visits to the Republic of Tunisia and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The tour comes under Qatar’s ambition to take relations with the three countries to new heights with increased cooperation across political, cultural, social, and economic levels.

A number of significant deals and Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) will be finalized during the visits, aimed at boosting bilateral ties between Qatar and the Arab nations.

The tour will create new opportunities for collaboration that will serve the countries’ joint interests and help address Arab issues and meet common goals.

Additionally, the visits will tackle certain challenges and concerns in the Arab region such as the Palestinian cause, the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem, the situation in Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and other Arab countries.

During the official visits, HH the Amir will meet King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein of Jordan, Tunisian President Kais Saied, and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, respectively.

The meetings will deal with issues of mutual concern in the region as well as ways to bolster relations between Qatar and the three countries.

The tour echoes Qatar’s eagerness to extend its support to the three countries, placing utmost importance on freedom, peace, stability, and prosperity.
